やはり楽しです！インプロ。楽しいのうえ、ライフスキルへの貢献となります。リスニング、コラボレーション、頭の柔軟、ストーリーの共有力、チャレンジを受け入れ、レジリエンスを構築などのスキルを利用します。ステージ上がりたい方でも、単純にお話を上手になりたい方でも、そのスキルを構築します！アナタに合うレベルのクラスをご用意しております。
パイレーツの大学はマイク・スタッファーとパイレーツメンバーがスタートで、パイレーツ・オブ・東京湾のバイリンガルのコメディーグループから生まれました。機知に富み、自発的で、キャラクター主導で、恐れを知らず、ステージの上でもいなくても他の人をサポートする人をつくるため設立しました。
講師のマイク・スタッファーとビル・ライリーはパイレーツのメンバーで、合わせて15年間以上のインプロの経験。マニラ、香港、北京、上海、クアラルンプール、シンガポール、テュービンゲン、ニューヨークなどの海外インプロフェスでも公演。

Whether you dream of the spotlight or just want to get more comfortable making small talk, you can develop your skills and we can help you. We offer a series of classes on multiple levels that will get you started on the right track.
Launched in 2019 by Mike Staffa and the members of the pioneering bilingual group, Pirates of Tokyo Bay, our comedy university aims to produce improvisers who are quick-witted, spontaneous, character-driven, fearless and supportive of others around them both on and off stage.
Our instructors (Bill Reilly and Mike Staffa) are members of the Pirates and both have over fifteen years of experience performing improvisation, highlighted by representing Japan at festivals in Manila, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tübingen and New York City.

2) Company team training. Our team training generally emphasizes improving communicative and entrepreneurial skills.
As your improv skills grow, so will you. Improv students become more confident, carefree, and comfortable in their own skin. We can think of no higher form of education.

パイレーツほど、アジアで国際ショー参加したグループいないでしょう。１０回ほどツアーして、ニューヨーク、マニラ、上海、北京、クアラルンプール、香港、大阪など。パイレーツのコメディスタイルを世界の客に提供し、優勝の実績もあります。アジアで日本の代表頑張っています。
Our teachers represent Japan improv
No group in Asia has toured as much as the Pirates have. 10 tours to cities like NYC, Manila, Shanghai, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Osaka. We have put our style of improv against groups across the world and have the 1st place awards to prove it! We are proud to represent Japan every time we travel.

パイレーツでは、お笑いを教えたり、この冗談言ってとかしていないです。パイレーツーでは一緒にステージにいる相手と強いつながりを構築作ることを学べます。（相手のいいとこを見せる方法も！）そして、相手のことをちゃんと聞く、出ることに対して「イェス！」を言えることを学べます。ストーリーや登場人物を集中することによって、パイレーツースタイルを学べ、単純の冗談より、より深いお笑い共感できます。
We tell stories, not jokes
We don’t teach you to “find the funny” or give you a bag of one-liners. When you learn the Pirates style of improv, you’ll learn to connect with your partners (and make them look good), listen hard, and say yes to what comes next. By focusing on the story, and the all-too-human characters in it, Pirates-style improv delivers a rich humor that is naturally hilarious and funnier than a joke ever could be.

パイレーツーはコミュニティーへ寄付
インプロを自らの手で拡大しながら、コミュニティーへの貢献を積極的すべきと考えています。毎年行う「Over Cancer Together～がんを共にのりこえよう～」キャンペーンのシャリティーショー、福島のためのショー、アメリカ大使館を通じて日本の学石向けのショーなどを通じて、インプロを皆にお届けしたいと思います。
Pirates give back
We feel strongly about giving back to the broader community that sustains us as we do our part to grow the improv scene from the grassroots. Through our annual cancer charity show in support of Over Cancer Together or other special shows like our Fukushima show or US Embassy shows for Japanese students, the Pirates bring the skill and delight of improv to people throughout Japan.

各レベルの従業料は35,000円。7週間で週一回の２時間のクラス。（東京で卒業の時、公演します！）

最低人数 / Minimum Class Size
クラスを実行するため、最低5人以上が必要です。
There must be at least 5 students registered for a level for it to proceed.

バイリンガルじゃないと参加できない？ / Do I have to be bilingual?
パイレーツがバイリンガルのグループですので必要応じてバイリンガルの運営します。言語の心配なく、是非、新しいチャンレジしましょう！
As the Pirates are a multilingual performance group, each session will be run bilingually as needed. Please don't let any worries about language skills hold you back from trying something new and fun!
お支払いはいつ？ / When do I pay for classes?
クラス料金に関して、銀行振込でお支払いいただけます。申し込むしてから１週間以内で全額をお振り込みください。法人のトレーニングは請求書を基づいて30日でお支払いいただきます。
Payment for a Level course can be paid by bank transfer (furikomi). Tuition must be paid in full via bank transfer no later than 1 week after registration in order to confirm your spot. Special corporate training packages will be invoiced and sent to the company for payment 30 days after the training ends.
クラスはどこで開催する？ / Where are classes held?
新宿駅から歩いて数分くらいのところです。
All classes are held in Shinjuku, minutes from the station.
レベルをスキップしていい？ / Can I skip a level?
講師の判断で可能です。その問い合わせがこちらです。
Special exceptions can be made by the level instructor about skipping level(s). Please email us here.
返金できます？ / What is your refund policy?
クラスの１回目の開始したら返金できかねます。
Refunds for cancellation or missed classes will not be given after the course has begun.
全てのクラスをとったらパイレーツに入れますか？ / If I take classes will I get to be a Pirate member?
クラスをとるだけでパイレーツのメンバーになれないです。ただしパイレーツがオーディション開催したら、クラスで獲得できたスキル・経験がオーディションで活用できます。
Taking classes or completing Levels with us does not mean you are a member of the Pirates of Tokyo Bay. But the experience you gained with us will prepare you well if and when you decide to audition for the group when we hold auditions.

All students are required sanitize their hands at the door before entering the practice space.

All students are required to wear masks throughout the entirety of the session.

クラスでのゲームやエクササイズはソーシャルディスタンスを前提する形で行います。
Games, activities and scenes prepared and executed with social distancing in mind.
強制的の他人との接触は一切ないです。
No students will be required to come into physical contact with anyone else against their own will.
クラス中、承認なしの撮影・写真などは禁止です。
No pictures or videos will be taken during the classes without consent.
