Bio:
Matt Danalewich hails from Chicago, the birthplace of improv comedy (don't tell New York!) and has been performing with the Pirates of Tokyo Bay since 2011. He studied improvisation at Second City and spent 14 years as a jazz trumpet player, which taught him the same lesson improv did: listen first, then play.

Matt is the group's featured singer, known for bringing the house down during musical improv games, especially "Piano Man," where his jazzy vocal chops turn audience suggestions into full-blown performances. He has conducted corporate workshops for Japanese businesses through the Pirates, bringing his Second City training to the boardroom.

ダナレビチ・マットはアメリカ・シカゴ出身。即興コメディの聖地であるセカンドシティで即興を学び、2011年からパイレーツ・オブ・東京湾のメンバーとして活動しています。14年間のジャズトランペットの経験で培った音楽センスは、即興コメディの舞台でも発揮されています。グループの歌担当として、ミュージカルインプロゲーム「ピアノマン」ではジャジーな歌声でお客様のお題を即興の歌に仕上げ、会場を沸かせます。パイレーツを通じて日本企業向けワークショップも担当しています。
