The Pirates of Tokyo Bay is a crew of 20+ performers from all over the world. We rehearse together, perform together, travel together, and genuinely look out for each other. We're not a company - we're a volunteer improv comedy group that happens to be a tight-knit community of close friends.
All of our members are performers - but none of us can be on stage and behind the camera at the same time. We're looking for someone to join us as a non-performing member: our dedicated photographer and content creator. Same crew, different role.

パイレーツ・オブ・東京湾は、世界中から集まった20人以上のメンバーで活動する即興コメディグループです。一緒に練習して、一緒にステージに立って、一緒に旅をして、本気でお互いを大切にしています。会社ではありません。ボランティアのコメディグループであり、かけがえのない仲間のコミュニティです。
メンバーは全員パフォーマーですが、ステージに立ちながら同時にカメラを構えることはできません。私たちは「非パフォーマー」としてグループに参加してくれる専属のフォトグラファー＆コンテンツクリエイターを探しています。同じ仲間、違う役割です。
WHAT YOU'D ACTUALLY DO
Your main job: be our eyes and lens on Sundays.
Come to weekly practice (Sundays, 5–7 PM, Shinjuku area. Nearest stations: Shinjuku-gyoemmae 新宿御苑前駅 / Shinjuku-sanchome 新宿三丁目駅)
Come to our monthly show (Sundays, roughly 6–9 PM at What the Dickens! in Ebisu, except December)
Take photos and short videos of practice moments, backstage energy, and live performances
Post to our Instagram (main platform), TikTok (growing), and occasionally X/Twitter
Help write blog posts about shows, cast spotlights, or behind-the-scenes stories for our website, Note.com, and Medium
During the week, any additional posting or editing is remote and on your own schedule. Sunday nights are Pirates nights, that's the real commitment.
具体的な活動内容
メインの役割：日曜日に私たちの「目」と「カメラ」になること。
毎週日曜の練習に参加（17:00〜19:00、新宿エリア／最寄り駅：新宿御苑前駅・新宿三丁目駅）
月1回の公演に参加（日曜、18:00〜21:00頃、恵比寿 What the Dickens!／12月を除く）
練習風景、舞台裏の雰囲気、ライブパフォーマンスの写真や短い動画を撮影
Instagram（メイン）、TikTok（成長中）、X（時々）に投稿
公演レポート、キャストの紹介、舞台裏のストーリーなどのブログ記事を執筆（自社サイト、Note.com、Medium）
平日の投稿や編集作業はリモートで、自分のペースでOKです。日曜の夜がパイレーツの時間——それが唯一の決まったスケジュールです
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need a marketing degree. You need a phone, decent instincts for what makes a good photo or clip, and the willingness to show up on Sundays.
Language: We'd love someone who speaks Japanese (native or fluent) with conversational English. Fully bilingual is great too. If your English is strong but your Japanese is still growing, we're open to hearing from you, we'll support your Japanese.
What matters most:
You're comfortable taking photos and video in a live, fun environment
You're reliable on Sundays
You genuinely want to be part of a community, not just add a line to your resume

WHAT YOU GET
Let's be upfront: this is a volunteer role. Nobody in our group gets paid — not the performers, not the director, and not this position. We do this because we love it. Here's what you do get:
